Hadi Hashemzadeh Farhang, managing director of Iran’s South Pars Gas Complex (SPGC), announced that 39 bcm (419 mcm/d) of sweet gas has been injected into the cross-country gas grid during the first quarter of the current (Iranian) year (started late March 2018), showing %16 increase compared to a similar period last year, reported the PR office of NIGC.
He continued: “During this three-month period, 549 mcm of natural gas have been also delivered as feed to Pars Petrochemical Complex.”
“In the Q1 this year, 4 bcm (43 mcm/d) of sour gas were injected into IGAT V gas pipeline,” continued Hashemzadeh Farhang.
Referring to the other products of this gas complex, he concluded: “In the said period, over 55Mln bbls (591,000 bpd) of gas condensates, 202, 527 tons of granular sulfur, 792, 356 tons of ethane, 519, 467 tons of propane, and 287,256 tons of butane were produced at SPGC.”
